Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Lucas Beraldo from São Paulo for £17.4m
The 20-year-old Brazilian centre-back forward has signed a five-year deal ending a four-year stay with his boyhood club which saw him make 52 appearances.
He told PSG’s official website: “I feel very good with everyone who has welcomed me to the club in the best possible way, both the players as well as the staff. I am ready for this new challenge.”
Beraldo subsequently becomes PSG’s first winter 2024 signing and will don the number 35 jersey previously worn by Jesé, Tanguy Nianzou, Moussa Diaby and Youssouf Mulumbu.

This acquisition will be seen as a coup for the Parisians as Beraldo, a Brazil under-20 international, had been linked with Liverpool in the past. Praised for his technical poise and passing ability, the left-footer will add depth to Luis Enrique’s defensive options as PSG seek a third cosencutive Ligue 1 title.
PSG are set to face Toulouse in the final of the Trophée des Champions on Wednesday evening and has been drawn against Real Sociedad in the Champions League round of 16.
