Jadon Sancho has named fellow youngsters Kylian Mbappe and Marcus Rashford as two of his main footballing inspirations.
Sancho has fired himself to prominence this season scoring nine goals and providing 13 assists across Bundesliga and Champions League appearances for Borussia Dortmund.

However, the 18-year-old believes he still has so much more to give and is looking to the achievements of Mbappe and Rashford for club and country as motivation to improve.
“Luckily enough I’ve got great people around me to keep me grounded and humble,” Sancho told Dortmund’s official YouTube channel.
“I’m grateful that I’ve got them around me telling me I’m not doing enough – there’s the likes of Mbappe doing crazy things at PSG.

“They are the kind of people I need to compete with as he’s so young and so am I.
“That always pushes me when I see Mbappe and Marcus Rashford doing well because I know they are probably looking at me and seeing what I’m doing and it’s probably pushing them.
“It’s good to see other young players doing well.”

Despite having a combined age of just 41, Rashford and Mbappe already have an incredible 300 senior club appearances under their belts, scoring 123 goals between them along the way.
Despite playing during one of Man Utd’s toughest periods of the Premier League era, Rashford has already helped the Red Devils to FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League titles.
However, that trophy collection is dwarfed when compared to Mbappe’s, with the Frenchman already winning two French league titles, a French Cup and a French League Cup, while he is all-but certain to add another league crown this season.
And at international level, although Rashford helped England to an impressive World Cup semi-final last year, Mbappe again went one better, winning world football’s biggest prize and scoring four goals along the way.
