In a ridiculous night of football, Steven Bergwijn and Spurs staged a stoppage-time turnaround to beat Leicester 2-3.
The Foxes had the ball and the lead with just 20 seconds left to play when Bergwijn scored a dramatic equaliser after a great Matt Doherty run caused some chaos in the Leicester box.
Straight from kick-off, Leicester gave the ball away from Youri Tielemans. The ball was advanced to Harry Kane who slid it behind the wildly high-line Leicester were holding and Bergwijn rocketed into the space, took the ball, skipped around Kasper Schmeichel and slid home.
The internet, it’s safe to say, lost their minds. Andrew Gaffney seemed happy enough with the drawn and a Bergwijn goal:
Bergy has had some great little touches since he came on and I'm glad to see him score again. #thfc

Jonny Singer tried to stay calm and analyse Leicester’s catalogue of errors that led to that goal:
There's so much to unpack there:
Leicester should never have allowed Spurs that much ball in stoppage time
Bergwijn should have been sent off
Tielemans plays about the worst pass of all time
Schmeichel HAS to come— Jonny Singer (@Jonny_Singer) January 19, 2022
Some couldn’t help but make the obvious joke:
Oh Leicester. That's very, very, very Spursy.

Aaron West thought this felt like a game of FIFA:
Every time I think the coding in fifa is ridiculous the real life goes and does this

Gab Marcotti was bewildered:

Others couldn’t help but laugh:
That’s such a hilarious way for Leicester to lose that match

Charlie Eccleshare was blown away by Bergwijn:
Genuinely unbelievable. Bergwijn without a PL goal all season, scores two in stoppage time. #THFC somehow win it 3-2.

Review Football felt the result reflected poorly on Brendan Rodgers’ managerial ability:
Brendan Rodgers…I don’t think he’ll ever be a top four manager.
The same problems he had with Liverpool all those years ago are still surfacing with Leicester.
Good going forward but so vulnerable in defence. #LEITOT #THFC

Antonio Conte, on the other hand, is making some history:
