FPL wildcard tips: Our complete fantasy football squad for gameweek 35

There’s only four gameweeks left with limited time left to get those points to push your higher in your leagues. Here we’ve put together a full squad that you should consider with the next seven days in mind.

There are huge games across the league this week, with Newcastle hosting Arsenal leading the way. It’s a match that could have massive implications at the top of the table.

Liverpool host Brentford, whilst Man United travel to London to take on West Ham. There’s also a key clash at the foot of the table when Southampton take on Nottingham Forest, with both sides being in the bottom three.

With that in mind, we’ve assembled a 15-man squad (within a budget of 100M) you should be considering, taking into account value, points, performances and fixtures when using your wildcard ahead of another huge week of Premier League action.

Gameweek 35 Wildcard picks

Fraser Forster (£3.9m)

FPL points so far: 31
Fixture: Crystal Palace (H)

Forster acts as a great cheaper pick up, with Hugo Lloris unlikely to feature once again. Getting a starting keeper for a top six side for under £4m is a great deal and, with Spurs taking on a Crystal Palace side that find it hard to score at times, it could be a good week to bring in the Spurs stopper.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m)

FPL points so far: 131
Fixture: Brentford (H)

Has there been a bigger improvement in a player this season? The change in shape has given Alexander-Arnold a new lease of life in a more central, and advanced, role and the Liverpool star is now on six assists in six games. You wouldn’t bet against him improving on that record, would you?

John Stones (£5.5m)

FPL points so far: 90
Fixture: Leeds (H)

Another player to benefit from a tactical change this season is John Stones. A move into a midfield role has seen him become vital to the Man City machine. Still listed a defender on FPL, you’re gaining a midfield option for the price of a defender here. Stones is a danger from set pieces and still benefits from the potential Man City clean sheet.

Pervis Estupinan(£4.8m)

FPL points so far: 106
Fixture: Everton (H)

What a breakout season for Estupinan! The Brighton left back has been one of the best players in his position this season, and that has translated to FPL with over 100 points collected. A game against a sorry looking Everton side could give Estupinan some defensive points, as well as improve on his six assists so far this season.

Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m)

FPL points so far: 120
Fixture: Everton (H)

Talking of breakout stars…Mitoma has been a revelation at Brighton this season and is already being linked to a big money move to a top four side. Seven goals and seven assists have made him a FPL superstar and, whilst still priced at £5.6m, he’s a well priced option in midfield.

Luis Diaz (£7.8m)

FPL points so far: 55
Fixture: Brentford (H)

Luis Diaz has had a great return from injury, scoring against Spurs last week and looking dangerous throughout. Liverpool have won five in a row, scoring well along the way, and Diaz could benefit from their new found confidence in attack.

Mo Salah (£12.9m)

FPL points so far: 207
Fixture: Brentford (H)

Another man who has profited from Liverpool’s great run of form is Mo Salah. Five goals in five games have seen the Egyptian look like the Salah of 18 months ago and he’s become a monster at Anfield, scoring in each of the last eight games at his home ground.

Jack Grealish (£7.3m)

FPL points so far: 120
Fixture: Leeds (H)

Grealish has upped his game in recent weeks, with two goals and four assists in the past six weeks and this has made him a valuable FPL asset. A match against relegation threatened Leeds could see him pick up some big points this week, especially with teammate Erling Haaland in such great form.

Erling Haaland (£12.2m)

FPL points so far: 257
Fixture: Leeds (H)

Talking of the big Norwegian…We don’t have to say much here really, do we? Seven goals in five games, 35 goals for the season and over 250 FPL points.  If he’s not in, you’re out.

Gabriel Jesus (£8.1m)

FPL points so far: 108
Fixture: Newcastle (A)

Arsenal need a big couple of results to keep themselves in the title race and a huge amount of the goalscoring pressure falls on the shoulders of Jesus. A goal in his last game against Chelsea should be a confidence boost and he’ll need to be firing this weekend to overcome Newcastle.

Callum Wilson (£7m)

FPL points so far: 128
Fixture: Arsenal (H)

We’re anticipating a goalfest at St James’ Park this weekend (hence the attacking options here and not the defensive ones!) and Callum Wilson could hold the key to Newcastle’s fortunes. Five goals in three games have left the Newcastle striker on 15 goals for the season, a terrific return for the England international.

Sam Johnstone (£4.4m)

FPL points so far: 24
Fixture: Wolves (A)

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.3m)

FPL points so far: 52
Fixture: West Ham (A)

Victor Lindelof (£4.1m)

FPL points so far: 38
Fixture: West Ham (A)

Jefferson Lerma (£4.7m)

FPL points so far: 94
Fixture: Chelsea (H)
