Andrew Robertson continued his great form as he helped Liverpool beat Crystal Palace for the tenth straight time.
Liverpool came into the game with nine straight wins against Palace under their books, and across those nine games no one had as many assists as Andrew Robertson.
So it wasn’t much of a surprise when the Scot’s early corner found the head of Virgil van Dijk and he thundered the ball into the back of the net. It was a peach of an inswinging deliver that Van Dijk powered home.
Then 25 minutes later, Robertson found himself on the left and sent a devilish cross into the box that somehow evaded everyone to slip through to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the back-post who finished supremely.

The assists meant that Robertson now has directly created seven goals in Liverpool’s incredible 10-match winning run aaginst Palace. That is an impeccable series of performances for a full-back who often gets overlooked in favour of his more illustrious team-mates.
But Robertson is in great form right now. Since returning from suspension he has got three assists in two games, and in the last game prior to suspension he had given Liverpool a two-goal lead with a goal and assist (before getting sent off, of course).
Trent Alexander-Arnold is obviously special, but Andrew Robertson is as well. Since the start of 2017/18, both Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have got 43 assists in the Premier League, with only Kevin De Bruyne standing above them. That’s how good the Scot is.
