FIFA 20: Manchester United player ratings in full
Six years on and Manchester United are still trying to find their feet post-Sir Alex Ferguson, but under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer there have been fleeting glimmers of past glory days.
And that is reflected in FIFA 20, with this latest instalment of EA Sports’ globally renowned series including a Red Devils side that isn’t quite on the level from say, a decade ago, but still offers plenty of quality.
The likes of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez left for Inter Milan last summer but Bruno Fernandes was a recent addition in January. So how is United’s squad shaping up in the video game franchise this year? Read on for Man Utd‘s FIFA 20 player ratings and stats in full, as well as some tips.

Man Utd FIFA 20 ratings: Goalkeepers
In recent times David de Gea has dominated the Premier League goalkeeping charts, and despite coming in for a large amount of flak this season, with one jibe seeing the Spaniard labelled ‘poppadom hands’, he remains the one of highest-rated shot-stoppers on these shores according to FIFA 20 with a rating of 88.
Man Utd goalkeeper ratings for FIFA 20: David de Gea (88), Sergio Romero (80), Lee Grant (71).
Man Utd FIFA 20 ratings: Defenders
Despite Man Utd spending over £100m to bolster their backline, the likes of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have only been afforded a rating of 82 and 81 respectively, with the former United’s highest-rated defender.
Player to poach: In terms of potential Wan-Bissaka could rise in Career Mode to an 88 while Diogo Dalot has the prospect of leaping from a 75 to an 85 under the right tutelage, but Axel Tuanzebe could prove the player to poach, with the 21-year-old capable of progressing from a 74 to an 84. His innate tackling ability and physical prowess may very well flourish in the correct hands.
Man Utd defender ratings for FIFA 20: Harry Maguire (82), Victor Lindelof (81), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (81), Eric Bailly (80), Luke Shaw (79), Phil Jones (77), Diogo Dalot (75), Axel Tuanzebe (74), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (72), Brandon Williams (68), Ethan Laird (65), Di’Shon Bernard (61).
Man Utd FIFA 20 ratings: Midfielders
Pogba is, of course, the standout midfielder for Man Utd, with the World Cup winner coming in at a rating of 87. His closest teammate is new arrival Fernandes on 85, while Marcus Rashford makes a surprise appearance as a LM, rated 83. Daniel James comes in at 77 after a big boost in the Winter Refresh.
Player to poach: There is one teenager who shines brightly among United’s wave of talented tyros and that is Angel Gomes, who could soar from a 68 to an 86 if managed correctly. United have often followed a policy of signing big in recent times, so Gomes could possibly be snatched and developed into a world-class player.
Man Utd midfielder ratings for FIFA 20: Paul Pogba (87), Bruno Fernandes (85), Marcus Rashford (83), Juan Mata (80), Jesse Lingard (79), Nemanja Matic (79), Fred (79), Scott McTominay (78), Daniel James (77), Andreas Pereira (76), Angel Gomes (68), Tahith Chong (65), James Garner (65), Dylan Levitt (63), Ethan Galbraith (62).
Man Utd FIFA 20 ratings: Forwards
With Rashford listed as a midfielder, Manchester United’s default striking options are thin, with Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and January arrival Odion Ighalo available. Although Rashford can, obviously, still play as a striker.
Player to poach: Mason Greenwood is highly regarded at Old Trafford and has featured in a number of matches this term already, as well as across the summer during pre-season. But if you can prise the youngster away from the Red Devils, you could have your hands on a future star. The 71-rated forward is capable of growing 16 points to become an 87-rated No. 9.
