“What a beautiful stadium!” – Statman Dave visits the Stadio Olimpico for Roma vs Napoli

There are few cauldrons in world football quite like Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.

Home to AS Roma and Lazio, this footballing hotbed is known to generate one of the most intense and – if you’re with the visiting team – hostile atmospheres in Europe.

To experience a match at this iconic venue is the dream of many football fans and our very own Statman Dave, in association with Homefans, did just that during Roma’s entertaining 2-1 win over Napoli at the weekend.

Paulo Fonseca v Carlo Ancelotti, Nicolo Zaniolo, Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne and, yes, Chris Smalling. The fixture is brimming with talent and they did not disappoint.
