We’re into 2026 and EAFC 26 is still going strong.
Ultimate Team may be the main focus of the game, but Career Mode has a special place in our hearts. That’s because you can start whenever you want, as many times as you want.
No matter who you’re managing the premise and aim of Manager Career — as it’s now called — remains the same. Winning the league and continental trophies, no matter where you start or who you manage.
We’ve covered the centre-backs and strikers you need to sign in Manager Career, and now it’s time to move onto the wide players. Wingers can be very important in EAFC, especially if you like to use the width of a pitch in attack — whether that’s with speed or skill.
So who do you go for on EAFC 26? We’ve taken a look at some of the top wingers available to buy in your first window, across an array of transfer fees to make your job a tad easier.
We’re just looking at players available in the first window of Men’s Career Mode here, with finances in Women’s Career Mode much different.
Values and presence of release clauses may vary per save, while availability may vary depending on strictness of transfers.

EAFC 26 best wingers to sign on Career Mode – Under £5m
Justin Lerma (Independiente del Valle)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 63
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 84
- Value: £1.3m
We do start our journey with a winger that will cost around £1million. But if you’ve got the money it’s worth the move. Justin Lerma is an interesting one. In the real world he’s set to join Borussia Dortmund next summer, when he turns 18. But that’s not logged in EAFC, so he’s able to move. The Ecuadorean teenager has an initial Overall of 63, with four-star Skill Moves and 76 Pace. He also boasts 65 Dribbling including 74 Agility, so he’s going to cause some issues on the left wing.
The main selling point here is Lerma’s potential to grow to 84 Overall, becoming a decent winger. And because of the way the game works, you can get Lerma for around £1m — lower than his £1.3m value. Take it and run.
Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 70
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 88
- Value: £3.4m
It won’t be a surprise to see Rio Ngumoha on this list. But he isn’t being included purely because of the current hype. Ngumoha is one for the future. He starts Manager Career with an Overall of 70, which is pretty strong for his age. That comes with 90 Pace, and a decent split between Acceleration and Sprint Speed, as well as 75 Dribbling. His 88 Balance is eye-catching, as is his four-star Skill Moves. Ngumoha also has decent stats in Shooting and Passing, so can be a duel threat.
Of course, the big thing here is Ngumoha’s potential. If you nurture him, the Englishman has the potential to grow to 88 overall, becoming one of the better wingers in the game. Despite this, Liverpool will accept his value of £3.4m.
Joao Costa (Al Ettifaq)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 71
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 86
- Value: £3.9m
Another potential left-winger, but this time Joao Costa is actually left-footed. And he can actually play on both flanks. The Brazilian currently plies his trade in Saudi Arabia with Al Ettifaq, despite only being young. Costa has an initial Overall of 71, so is a little better than the two already on this list. And that’s shown by his 72 Dribbling and 69 Shooting, including 74 Shot Power. His Pace of 86 is great too, though that’s obviously not linked to his Overall. Costa does have the ability to play at full-back, but with his 49 Defending you won’t want to do that.
The Brazilian has the potential to grow to 86 Overall, but Al Ettifaq will still happily accept just above his value at £4.05m. Not bad.

EAFC 26 best wingers to sign on Career Mode – £5m – £20m
Leo Sauer (Feyenoord)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 73
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 86
- Value: £6m
Moving slightly up the price list, Leo Sauer is still a decent cheap option. The Slovakian plays on the left wing and is right-footed, if you’re that way inclined when it comes to wingers. Sauer starts Manager Career with an Overall of 73, which is decent enough. You’ll want to make good use of him down the flanks, with his 88 Pace and 76 Dribbling. That includes 83 Agility, which you can improve in training. Sauer also boasts four-star Skill Moves. His Shooting and Passing aren’t as great but you can work on those.
Duranville has the potential to grow to 86 Overall, which is good growth and Feyenoord will accept around his value of £6m.
Roony Bardghji (Barcelona)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 74
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 86
- Value: £8.5m
We make our first of two trips to Spain to talk about Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji. The Swedish star has an initial Overall of 74, which is decent for the lower-level clubs. But you might even want to take the risk higher up. His Dribbling is the standout attribute on 77, especially when you add in his four-star Skill Moves. Bardghji also boasts four-star Weak Foot and 74 Finishing alongside 71 Crossing. Not bad at all.
The 19-year-old has the potential to grow to 86 Overall in Manager Career, becoming a very good player. Despite this, Barcelona will accept around £10.5m for the Swede if you get in there early.
Geovany Quenda (Sporting CP)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 76
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 88
- Value: £15m
Sporting CP fans are probably going to start getting annoyed as we keep recommending their players. But there are a lot of promising stars in Lisbon. Geovany Quenda is our winger suggestion, capable of playing both flanks, though he is stronger on the right — as a left-footer. Quenda has an initial Overall of 76 and, again, the Pace stands out at 84. But this is joined by 79 Dribbling and 72 Passing, making Quenda an already-good option. He also boasts four-star Skill Moves and Weak Foot, all while being only 18.
It’s scary to think how good Quenda can become for teams as he reaches his potential Overall of 88. But Sporting CP will still accept around of £15.5m to sign the Portuguese star.
EAFC 26 best wingers to sign on Career Mode – £20m and above
Antonio Nusa (RB Leipzig)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 78
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 88
- Value: £26.5m
There are a lot of expensive winger options, all with high potential. But we’re trying to keep things reasonable, while still potentially breaking the bank. Our first option is Antonio Nusa, currently plying his trade in Germany with RB Leipzig. The Norwegian winger comes with an initial Overall of 78 so can get into a lot of teams — especially with his four-star Skill Moves and Weak Foot. We like his 88 Pace but we’re not going to let that impact our thoughts. Combined with his 82 Dribbling, though, you’ve got a recipe for success, particularly with his 91 Agility and 87 Balance. His Shooting isn’t too bad at 72 either.
Nusa has the potential to grow to 88 Overall, becoming a real gem. It’s for that reason that you’ll have to fork out around £30m for Nusa, £3.5m above his value.
Estevao (Chelsea)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 79
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 89
- Value: £32m
Estevao looks to be the real deal. And it’s the same in EAFC 26. The Brazilian starts Manager Career with an Overall of 78, which is good considering he’s playing his first season outside of his native country. He’s a tricky winger with 89 Pace and 83 Dribbling, the latter including 91 Agility and 93 Balance. He’s also got decent Shooting and Passing attributes for his rating. Then there’s the four-star Skill Moves, making Estevao an exciting little player.
Now this is all about the potential. Estevao can grow to 89 Overall in Manager Career, becoming one of the best in the game. So you’ll understand why Chelsea want around £39m.
Arda Guler (Real Madrid)

- Initial EAFC 26 overall: 82
- Potential EAFC 26 overall: 89
- Value: £52m
Finally, Arda Guler. The Turkish midfielder can play in a variety of positions, which adds to his quality. Guler starts Manager Career with an Overall of 82, alongside four-star Skill Moves and three-star Weak Foot. His best attribute at this early stage in his career — still only 20 — is his Dribbling at 84, But that’s only one better than his Passing. For a winger, he can cause a lot of issues even if he does only have 75 Pace. His 82 Crossing and 84 Short Passing are excellent too.
Guler has the potential to grow to 89 overall, which again is among the best. But he’ll cost a lot. Real Madrid don’t want to sell for cheap and will only accept around £62.5m with a sell-on clause.
