FIFA 23: Every player with five-star skill moves

Once again, skill moves are extremely important in FIFA 23, particularly on Ultimate Team.

Pace will always be a big part of the game but when you’re in front of the opposition box you want someone who can help you find that extra bit of space. For the serious Ulimate Teamers, a player with less than four-star skill moves wasn’t worth having after the first few months of the game.

The ability to move out of tight spots is crucial in Ultimate Team, especially around your opponent’s area as you look to get the edge in a tough match. It’s the same in other game modes, too, whether you’re chasing the Treble in Career Mode, a division title on Pro Clubs, or just regular (or co-op) head-to-head seasons.

When the right skills are used at the right time and in the right combination, five-star skillers can be unstoppable, that’s why they can be so popular on Ultimate Team. Skills are sometimes the difference between going 20-0 and 16-4 in FUT Champions, the key separator of the best and the rest, especially at this late stage in the game.

In FIFA 22 we had 51 five-star skillers in total, excluding ICONs and any Hero cards, but this year around we have seen that list drop to 47. Nevertheless there are some big names ranging from 91-rated Kylian Mbappe to FIFA legend Aidan McGeady. But who else made this list? Take a look below…

The list below does not include ICONs, Heroes or any other special cards that might have got upgrades, including the World Cup Path to Glory. Only base cards that would also be available in other parts of the game, but with a focus on their Ultimate Team stats.
