
The 2025-26 Premier League season is nearing its end, with the penultimate gameweek done and dusted.
It was a significant one too, with Arsenal wrapping up the title by beating Burnley — alongside Manchester City’s dropped points against Bournemouth. At the other end of the table, the relegation battle will go to the final day after Chelsea beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal have two key players in the Squawka Score Team of the Week for Gameweek 37, but they are bettered by one team. Fulham have three players involved despite only drawing against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

GK: Karl Darlow (Leeds)
- Squawka Score: 85%
There were only two clean sheets across Gameweek 37 of the Premier League, and Karl Darlow was responsible for one of them. He had to work hard for it too, making a gameweek-high seven saves, four of which came from shots inside the box. Darlow also prevented 0.59 goals with his saves, as well as catching one cross and making one punched clearance.
Honourable mention: Jose Sa (71%)
Jose Sa may have conceded in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ draw against Fulham, but that came from the penalty spot. He still managed to prevent 0.74 goals and make four saves.
RB: Timothy Castagne (Fulham)
- Squawka Score: 73%
Timothy Castagne put in a good all-round performance for Fulham even if they laboured to their draw with already-relegated Wolves. He won two tackles and was part of a defence that only faced three shots on target, while also completing six passes into the final third and having seven touches in the opposition box. Crucially, Castagne won the penalty for Fulham’s equalier
Honourable mention: Pedro Porro (68%)
Pedro Porro created one big chance for Tottenham in their defeat to Chelsea, also completing three passes into the penalty area.
CB: Calvin Bassey (Fulham)
- Squawka Score: 74%
Calvin Bassey was the standout centre-back of the gameweek, the only one with a Score in the 70s. He put in some crucial interventions against Wolves including a last-man tackle and interception in his own box. Bassey made two interceptions retaining possession in total, while also winning two tackles and possession three times in the defensive third. He wasn’t too bad on the ball either, completing six passes into the final third.
Honourable mention: Lewis Dunk (66%)
Lewis Dunk made five clearances and won three aerials duels in Brighton and Hove Albion’s defeat to Leeds.
CB: Nathan Collins (Brentford)
- Squawka Score: 67%
Nathan Collins was a rock at the back for Brentford despite their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace. He made a whopping 10 clearances, and won seven aerial duels, the latter being the most of any centre-back in the gameweek. Collins also won posession six times in the middle third — again a high among centre-backs — and won 100% of his ground duels.
Honourable mention: Maxence Lacroix (64%)
Maxence Lacroix made four clearances and two interceptions retaining possession for Crystal Palace, ahilw also winning three aerial duels.
LB: Antonee Robinson (Fulham)
- Squawka Score: 73%
Antonee Robinson scored the penalty won by Castagne, for his first-ever Premier League goal. But he put in a very solid defensive display, allowing Castagne to be more advanced. The American won possession five times in the defensive third and made five clearances, helping to restrict Wolves to their three shots on target. Robinson also won three aerial duels and made four interceptions retaining possession.
Honourable mention: Nico O’Reilly (70%)
Nico O’Reilly won five aerial duels and made four clearances for Man City against Bournemouth, who only had two shots on target.

DM: Declan Rice (Arsenal)

Declan Rice was excellent at the base of Arsenal’s midfield, giving him the ability to pull the strings from a deeper starting point. The Englishman completed 27 forward passes and had a 78.95% success rate for his passes into the final third. But Rice also shielded his own defence well. He won all of his duels, made seven ball recoveries and won possession four times in the middle third and three times in the defensive third. It was a title-winning performance.
Honourable mention: Rodri (74%)
Rodri won two tackles and made 18 accurate forward passes for Man City against Bournemouth, alongside eight ball recoveries.
DM: Sandro Tonali (Newcastle)
- Squawka Score: 77%
Sandro Tonali only played 53 minutes for Newcastle against West Ham, but his performance was more than enough to earn a spot in the team. The Italian made four ball recoveries and won possession twice in the middle third, while also winning one tackle. On the ball, Tonali completed 87.8% of his open-play passes, with four completing into the final third.
Honourable mention: Sasa Lukic (73%)
Sasa Lukic won three tackles and made two interceptions retaining possession for Fulham against Wolves. He also boasted a retention rate of 90.91%.
RW: Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
- Squawka Score: 72%
Bukayo Saka set up Kai Havertz for what was essentially Arsenal’s title-winning goal against Burnley. It came from a corner, but that shouldn’t take away from the Englishman’s performance. Saka had nine touches in the opposition box, constantly looking to probe Burnley’s defence, while also completing 17 final third passes. But he did his defensive work too, with six ball recoveries and four tackles won.
Honourable mention: Harvey Barnes (72%)
Harvey Barnes was a threat for Newcastle with 12 final third passes completed, seven touches in the opposition box and an intentional assist.
No.10: Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea)
- Squawka Score: 83%
Enzo Fernandez scored and assisted for Chelsea in their win over Tottenham. He opened the scoring with a strike from outside the box, with a non-penalty post-shot Expected Goals total of 0.22. Fernandez’s assist was one of his two chances created, and the Argentinian also completed nine final third passes. He made seven ball recoveries, two high turnovers and won one tackle.
Honourable mention: Morgan Rogers (78%)
Morgan Rogers was another to both score and assist in Gameweek 37, while also creating two big chances and having three touches in the opposition box.
LW: Matheus Cunha (Man Utd)
- Squawka Score: 84%
Matheus Cunha was the highest-scoring attacking player in Gameweek 37 thanks to his goal for Manchester United against Nottingham Forest. The Brazilian completed three take-ons from the left, with 100% success rate, and had six touches in the opposition box. Cunha also completed two crosses, 13 final third passes and created four chances. He ran the show for Man Utd.
Honourable mention: Morgan Gibbs-White (76%)
Morgan Gibbs-White started on the left for Nottingham Forest but still managed to have seven touches in the opposition box and one goal from three shots on target.
ST: Taty Castellanos (Arsenal)
- Squawka Score: 80%
Taty Castellanos netted a consolation goal for West Ham as they continued to fight relegation. But what a consolation goal it was. The Hammers striker tried his best to cause an upset at St James’ Park with four shots on target, from eight efforts in total. He posted 0.56 xG, and had nine touches in the opposition box. Castellanos was also a key focal point up the pitch winning five aerial duels and completing one lay off pass.
Honourable mention: Richarlison (78%)
Richarlison gave Tottenham a chance with his second-half goal against Chelsea, one of three shots he had. He also had five touches in the opposition box and posted 0.61 xG.
