Chelsea and Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw in a top of the table clash, while Brentford maintained their fine form under Keith Andrews. Sunderland, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Brighton all claimed notable victories over the weekend.
The Bees are the dominant side after their 3-1 win over Burnley, while Villa are the only other team with multiple representatives as they downed rivals Wolves.

GK: Robert Sanchez (Chelsea)

10-man Chelsea claimed a credible point in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday evening. Despite the numerical advantage, the Gunners only managed to beat Robert Sanchez once at Stamford Bridge as the Spaniard managed three saves and prevented 1.23 goals in their top-of-the-table clash.
Honourable mention: Sam Johnstone (80%)
Wolves fell to a 1-0 loss at rivals Aston Villa on Sunday. Sam Johnstone, though, gave Rob Edwards’ side a fighting chance at Villa Park, making five saves, three of which were from inside the box.
RB: Matty Cash (Aston Villa)

Matty Cash played a key role from right-back as Aston Villa claimed a 1-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday. Indeed, he managed four clearances and won two aerial duels in a clean sheet-attaining display.
Honourable mention: Jurrien Timber (69%)
Jurrien Timber put in another solid display at the weekend as Arsenal played out a 1-1 stalemate with Chelsea. The Dutchman got forward well, making four touches in the opposition box, while he also won possession in the defensive third four times.
CB: Nathan Collins (Brentford)

Brentford maintained their impressive start to life under Keith Andrews as they claimed a 3-1 win over relegation-threatened Burnley. Nathan Collins contained the Clarets backline with ease as he managed 17 clearances and won three aerial duels. Additionally, Collins won possession in the midfield third eight times in a dominant showing.

Honourable mention: Ezri Konsa (70%)
Ezri Konsa put in a shift at the heart of the Aston Villa backline in their 1-0 win over Wolves. The England international managed seven clearances and won three aerial duels to just miss out on a spot in the team of the week.
CB: Pau Torres (Aston Villa)

Partnering Collins at the heart of the defence is Pau Torres after a solid showing against Wolves. Torres set Aston Villa on the frontfoot with ease as he completed 10 passes into the final third, and won possession in the midfield third a notable six times in Sunday’s 1-0 win.

Not only did Trevoh Chalobah net Chelsea’s goal in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal, the Blues centre-back was vital off the ball as the west London side claimed a point. Not only did Chalobah make six clearances, but he also won four aerial duels.
LB: Maxim De Cuyper (Brighton)

Brighton earned a fine 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday, with Maxim De Cuyper key in the City Ground victory. De Cuyper scored the Seagulls’ opener on the stroke of half time, and was unfortunate not to add an assist having created two big chances to round off the backline.
Honourable mention: Lewis Hall (70%)
Lewis Hall provided his first assist of the season in a standout display in Newcastle’s 4-1 win at Everton on Saturday evening. Hall also managed to create two big chances and completed three take ons on Merseyside.
CM: Lewis Miley (Newcastle)

Making just his third league start of the season, Lewis Miley put in a starring role as Newcastle eased to a 4-1 win at Everton on Saturday. Not only did the youngster score his first goal of the season, he also provided his second assist, and kept play ticking over nicely with an open play pass accuracy of 96.36%.

Honourable mention: Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)
Liverpool returned to winning ways at West Ham’s expense on Sunday as goals from Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo confirmed a 2-0 win. Ryan Gravenberch also looked back to his best, as the Dutchman made five ball recoveries and 17 accurate forward passes at the London Stadium.
CM: Jordan Henderson (Brentford)

The second Brentford player to make the side, Jordan Henderson continued to prove age is but a number in a 3-1 win over Burnley. The experienced midfielder provided his third assist of the season in the home triumph, and made two interceptions and one tackle in Saturday’s victory.
Honourable mention: Casemiro (73%)
Manchester United showed great resolve to come from behind to beat Crystal Palace on Sunday, with Casemiro central to their efforts in claiming a 2-1 win. Casemiro made three interceptions and two tackles, and won two aerial duels, in a fine midfield showing.
CM: Enzo Le Fee (Sunderland)

Rounding off the midfield is Sunderland star Enzo Le Fee. The 25-year-old was directly involved in two of the Black Cats’ three goals as they came from behind to beat Bournemouth 3-2. Le Fee netted with his only shot on target, and completed 100% of his attempted passes into the final third.
Honourable mention: Mikkel Damsgaard (76%)
Just missing out on a spot in midfield is Brentford’s Mikkel Damsgaard. The Dane managed one interception and one tackle, and won five duels, as the Bees eased past Burnley.
RW: Amine Adli (Bournemouth)

While Bournemouth crashed to a 3-2 loss at Sunderland, Amine Adli shone on just his second league start. The Moroccan scored the Cherries’ opener at the Stadium of Light, that goal coming from his only shot on target. Adli also completed seven passes into the final third and made four ball recoveries.
Honourable mention: Dango Ouattara (76%)
Dango Ouattara scored his third league goal of the season in Brentford’s 3-1 win over Burnley on Saturday. The 23-year-old also completed two take ons in a commendable showing.
ST: Igor Thiago (Brentford)

Igor Thiago bagged his 10th and 11th league goals of the season as Brentford claimed a late 3-1 win over Burnley. The Brazilian struck with both shots on target, and won one aerial duel to lead the charge in the team of the week.

Nick Woltemade continued his impressive start to life with Newcastle with his fifth league goal of the season on Saturday. The towering German got the better of Jordan Pickford win one of two shots and won two aerial duels in the Magpies’ 4-1 win over Everton.
LW: Cody Gakpo (Liverpool)

Cody Gakpo scored Liverpool’s second at West Ham on Sunday to wrap up a 2-0 win for Arne Slot’s men. The Dutchman also provided the assist for Alexander Isak’s opener in another excellent display from the former PSV man.
Honourable mention: Jeremy Doku (66%)
While he couldn’t get on the scoresheet against Leeds, Jeremy Doku did all he could to help Manchester City in their 3-2 home win. The Belgian completed three take ons and created two big chances on Saturday.
