The rumours are running riot, with Mikel Arteta immediately linked with the position this summer, whilst Jurgen Klopp also features heavily in the betting market, after the German announced that he too will leave his currently club, Liverpool, at the season’s end.
Another manager who could emerge as one of the frontrunners to take over this summer is Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese legend was recently sacked at Roma and he could be persuaded to return to Barcelona, a club where he spent four years as assistant to both Bobby Robson and Louis van Gaal.
