No team has pushed Manchester City more in recent years than Liverpool, who have rekindled their former magic under Jurgen Klopp this season.

A disappointing 2022/23 campaign saw the Reds end up as the Premier League’s fifth-best team which proved to be their worst finish under Klopp following a full season.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch, both summer recruits, have chipped in with Cody Gakpo now settled after joining earlier this year.
