Chelsea scorers: Most goals, assists and best players in 23-24
The last few years have been uncomfortable for Chelsea and it remains to be seen whether Mauricio Pochettino is able to change their fortunes.
This past summer, Pochettino was installed as the club’s fourth different manager in four years with only current Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel bringing silverware back to Stamford Bridge.
In another season characterised by inconsistency, which comes on the back of spending in excess of £400m, there seem to be at least some positives emerging.
Below are two respective tables charting the club’s leading scorers and creators this season.
Chelsea top scorers | 2023-24
Player | Premier League | EFL Cup | FA Cup | Total |
Nicolas Jackson | 6 | 1 | 0 | 7 |
Raheem Sterling | 4 | 1 | 0 | 5 |
Cole Palmer | 4 | 0 | 0 | 4 |
Mykhailo Mudryk | 2 | 0 | 0 | 2 |
Armando Broja | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
Axel Disasi | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
Carney Chukwuemeka | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
Thiago Silva | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
Benoît Badiashile | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 |
Enzo Fernández | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 |
Noni Madueke | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 |
Christopher Nkunku was Chelsea’s big summer attacking signing but a serious knee injury has kept his debut on ice. Consequently, fellow newcomer Nicolas Jackson was immediately tasked with carrying the scoring burden and despite some eyebrow-raising moments, he’s currently their leading goalscorer with six, albeit three of those came in a crazy 4-1 win over Tottenham. Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer, who joined from Manchester City, are hanging on his coattails. But again, there’s a caveat with all four of Palmer’s goals coming from the penalty spot.
Chelsea top creators | 2023-24

Palmer has also been exceptional when it comes to creating goals. He’s posted four assists which equals another impressive youngster Conor Gallagher with all of those coming in the Premier League. Behind them are defenders Malo Gusto, Levi Colwill and Reece James with Sterling sandwiched in there.
