One of the few clubs that have remained in the Premier League since the inception of the league, Liverpool finally realised their ambition of winning the league trophy in 2020, beating Man City to lift the trophy. There has been many other successes for the club over the years, mainly in Europe where they became the team to beat for a few years, lifting the Champions League trophy twice in the past 20 years. There’s been a major overhaul at the club this summer and it remains to be seen if Jurgen Klopp can bring glory back to Anfield.
