Morocco odds: To win 2022 World Cup, how far will they go, top scorer and more
Morocco will be making a second consecutive World Cup finals appearance in Qatar.
After failing to qualify for four straight tournaments Morocco participated in the 2018 edition but couldn’t get out of the group phase.
In fact, they’ve only gone beyond the first round once across five previous competitions, that effort came in 1986 when Germany needed an 88th minute winner from Lothar Matthäus to eliminate The Atlas Lions in the round of 16.
Can Vahid Halilhodžić’s current incarceration match those ’86 heroes or will it be another early exit?

Morocco comfortably topped their group in the CAF qualifiers. They would then meet DR Congo in the following round, subsequently running out 5-2 winners across two legs. If they are to reach the knockout phase then Morocco will need a little luck while playing out of their skin.
