Belgium have reached the quarter-finals in each of the last two World Cups, finishing third in Russia after beating England 2-0 in the third place play-off. Previous to that, the Red Devils had only made it past the quarter-finals on one occasion when they finished fourth in 1986.
They will be looking to go one step further in Qatar with talisman Kevin De Bruyne and always prolific for his country, Romelu Lukaku looking to lead the Belgians to glory.
This will be the last chance for some of Belgium’s ageing stars with a lot of their current squad all being over the age of 30.

Roberto Martinez’s side went unbeaten during qualifying, winning six and drawing two of their eight games in a group with Wales, Czech Republic, Estonia and Belarus.
Belgium have qualified for each of the last two World Cups, finishing third in 2018, which was their best ever finish.
Belgium’s potential path to 2022 World Cup final
Belgium have been drawn In Group F alongside Canada, Morocco and Croatia.
They begin their campaign with second time finalists Canada, followed by Morocco before ending the group with last years’ runners up Croatia.

If Belgium win Group F
If Belgium were to win Group F, then this would be their route through to the final.
Last 16: The runners-up of Group E which consists of Spain, Costa Rica/New Zealand, Germany and Japan in Al Rayyan on the 6th December.
Quarter-finals: The winner of match 56, played between Group H winners and Group G runners-up.
Semi-finals: The winner of Match 59 which will include one of the Group B or Group D winners, or runners-up from Group A or C.
If Belgium qualify from Group F
Last 16: The winners of Group E in Al Wakrah on the 5th December.
Quarter-finals: The winner of Match 54, played between Group G winners and Group H runners-up.
Semi-finals: The winner of Match 57, which could include the Group A or C winners, or runners-up from Group B or D.
As touched upon, Belgium finished third in the previous World Cup after defeating England 2-0 in the third place playoff. The Red Devils are 5/1 to go one step further in Qatar and reach the final and are 5/2 to make it back-to-back semi-finals.
Roberto Martinez’s side are 1/2 favourites to top Group F and are as short as 1/12 to make it through to the last 16.
Romelu Lukaku is currently 13/2 to win the 2022 World Cup Golden Boot.
He has struggled for goals and form since returning for Chelsea, but has always been prolific for the national side. He is currently Belgium’s all-time top goalscorer with 68 goals in 101 games, including five in 10 appearances at the World Cup.
The former Inter man also scored four goals in just five games in qualifying, more than any other Belgian.
