Spain vs France latest prediction
La Roja began this summer’s tournament in fine form, winning all five games and scoring 11 goals in the process, conceding their first goal of the finals in the 4-1 victory against Georgia before their second to Germany in the following knockout round. Winger Lamine Yamal made history by becoming the youngest player in Euros history against Croatia and recently became the first-ever teenager to record three assists at a single edition of the Euros (all-time) or World Cup (on record, since 1966), while forward Álvaro Morata is now the joint-third top scorer overall in competition history after registering his seventh goal in the same game. Spain will become the first to win four European Championship titles if they triumph in Germany.
France did not win their group for the first time since Euro 2012. They had a tough win against Austria and drew with the Netherlands and Poland. However, they remained undefeated. Kylian Mbappé scored a penalty in their final Group D match, finally opening his account at the European Championships. They managed to progress past Belgium in the round of 16 and defeated Portugal on penalties in the next game. Didier Deschamps aims to guide his team to their sixth major final. As a player, he won the World Cup and the Euros, and as a coach, he contested two World Cup finals and one Euro decider. If he can guide Les Bleus to glory this summer, he’ll become the first-ever manager to win the World Cup and Euros as both a player and a manager.

Spain latest team news
Spain named an unchanged team to play against Germany, with Nacho Fernández and Ayoze Pérez fit to return to the bench after recovering from knocks. However, Luis de la Fuente will have no such luxury for the semi-final, as Pedri is out after limping off just minutes into the quarter-final due to a heavy challenge from Toni Kroos. Dani Olmo replaced Pedri and became one of the most influential players of the match, scoring the first goal and providing the assist for the winner. Even if Pedri was fit, you’d assume Olmo — who has scored in both knockout rounds so far — has done enough to start.

Spain are also without two starting defenders, Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand, due to suspension. Nacho is expected to deputise, while 38-year-old Jesús Navas could get the nod at right back, with Carvajal taking a red card for the team against Germany following a booking earlier in the game that had already sealed his suspension. Another possible full-back option is Alejandro Grimaldo.
France latest team news
During the quarter-final win over Portugal, French striker and captain Kylian Mbappé requested to be substituted during extra time due to fatigue. However, he is expected to lead France’s attack again, with Adrien Rabiot returning from suspension to join Deschamps’ midfield instead of Eduardo Camavinga. There is uncertainty over who will support Mbappé up front, but Antoine Griezmann is likely to remain in the final third, while Ousmane Dembélé is aiming to reclaim his spot in the starting XI following an impressive performance as a substitute in the previous match. That said, Deschamps may still view the PSG man as an impact sub.
