After six games of the 2023/24 Premier League season, there are four teams still unbeaten. Man City lead the way still perfect, but sitting one place and two points behind them are Liverpool. The Reds opened the campaign with a draw against Chelsea but have since been perfect, winning their last five matches. Jurgen Klopp’s men have beaten Bournemouth, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Wolves and West Ham. It’s part of a wider streak since last season too, with Liverpool unbeaten in 17 now in the Premier League, the longest active run in the top flight.

Tottenham, meanwhile, dropped down to fourth last weekend after their draw against Arsenal in the North London Derby. Ange Postecoglou has got off to a brilliant start to life as Tottenham manager, and he’ll be looking for that to continue this weekend. After opening with a draw against Brentford, Tottenham recorded wins against Man Utd, Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield United before last weekend’s draw with Arsenal. Tottenham are now looking to start a Premier League campaign with a seven-game unbeaten streak for just the third time.

Tottenham vs Liverpool match tip

Mohamed Salah & Son Heung-min both to score @ 7/1 with Sky Bet

Since Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool in 2017, no player has scored more Premier League goals against Tottenham than the Egyptian (8). At the same time, Son Heung-min has scored four of Tottenham’s last 10 league goals against Jurgen Klopp’s side, with only Andy Cole scoring more against the Reds than the Tottenham captain.

Tottenham vs Liverpool Bet-Builder tip

BTTS > Over 2.5 Goals > Mohamed Salah to score or assist

Both sides have found the back of the net in each of the previous six meetings between Tottenham and Liverpool, with those matches averaging 3.8 goals per game. Ange Postecoglou is the first manager in Tottenham’s history to see his side score 2+ goals in each of his first six Premier League matches, while the Reds have scored 2+ goals in each of their last five in the league.

Mohamed Salah has either scored or assisted in each of his last 12 Premier League matches and is showing no sign of stopping. The Egyptian also has eight goals in his 13 league appearances against Spurs.
