Everton vs Bournemouth prediction, stats, tips & team news

Everton host Bournemouth in an all-Premier League clash in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday, 8th February, at 3pm (UK time). The match will not be broadcast live in the United Kingdom. Check out our match preview and best bets below.

Iliman Ndiaye to score Anytime (10/3 with Paddy Power)

David Moyes has enjoyed a positive return to Goodison Park, with the Toffees putting together three consecutive league wins. Everton have scored eight goals across those three matches and I think this will be a high-scoring contest on Saturday.

Moyes is expected to make changes but Iliman Ndiaye has been excellent of late and should retain his place. The Senegalese forward has scored in four of his last five. He is also on penalty duty and scored against Peterborough in the previous round of this competition.

Dango Ouattara & Iliman Ndiaye both to score or assist a goal (13/2 with Paddy Power)

I’ve also had a little tickle on Dango Ouattara & Iliman Ndiaye both to score or assist a goal at 13/2 via the Power Prices with Paddy Power. Ouattara has four goal contributions in his last four appearances and combining him with the in-form Ndiaye looks a solid proposition.

How both teams go into Everton vs Bournemouth

The dark clouds have receded around Goodison Park recently, with the returning David Moyes leading them to back-to-back victories over Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton and Leicester. Those results have significantly eased the relegation worries around the blue half of Merseyside but now, attention returns to the FA Cup. After beating Peterborough in the third round, the Toffees will look to get past Bournemouth in what might well be the last-ever FA Cup match at Goodison Park.

The Cherries are flying high right now, suffering just one defeat in their last 13 games across all competitions. That run has seen them rise to seven the in the Premier League table, just three points adrift of the Champions League places, while it also includes a resounding 5-1 win over West Brom in the previous round of the FA Cup.

Everton team news

Armando Broja is out long-term, with Everton still trying to convince Chelsea to end his loan. Dwight McNeil could also require surgery, keeping him out for longer than expected. Youssef Chermiti and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are both out for this match.

Bournemouth team news

Evanilson, James Hill, Julian Araujo, Luis Sinisterra, Adam Smith and Marcos Sensi will all be sidelined for this match, while Enes Unal is out for the season.

Everton vs Bournemouth head-to-head

Everton have lost their last three games against Bournemouth but, as mentioned, Moyes boasts a strong record against the Cherries.
