Brighton will be looking to bounce back from defeat in midweek when they were excellent in the first-half but ended up losing 2-0 at Old Trafford to Man United. The result brought to an end a seven-game unbeaten run for the South Coast side. They sit ninth in the table and will be looking for a shot at Europe. Each of their last five have produced exactly two goals three of them ending 1-1.

At the Amex Stadium, the Seagulls have won just one of their last eight although they have also lost just two with five of them finishing all-square. Their seven remaining fixtures here look tricky with six of them coming against teams currently in the top 12. In just two of their last seven here have the South Coast side kept a clean-sheet. Only one of the last eight here has gone over 2.5 goals and that was when Man City hit four.

Burnley produced a battling performance last time out but were made to pay for missed chances as they went down 1-0 to Liverpool. The result stretches their winless run to 11 but seven of these games were drawn. The Lancashire side are bottom of the table with just 14 points but have games in hand over their rivals. Their last four matches have produced a total of just three goals.

Away from Turf Moor, the Clarets are without a victory since May 2021 a run that covers some 12 fixtures. They have managed to draw four of their last seven on the road including points at Chelsea and Arsenal. A lack of road goals is an issue with just two in five so they will hope Maxwel Cornet and Wout Weghorst are both fit. Not since October have they managed a first-half goal on the road.

Brighton vs Burnley: Match Stats

Brighton are the draw specialists in the Premier League with a league high 12 of their 24 games (50%) finishing honours even. Burnley actually have a bigger percentage of games finishing all-square with 52% (11 of 21) games ending in a draw. Backing this one to end equal looks a good bet.

Building on the main bet is for this game to finish in a draw and both teams to net so this covers the game ending 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc. Four of the last six Brighton matches have ended 1-1 while for Burnley both teams have netted in two of their last three on the road.
