Pedro Neto played a far heavier Premier League role in 2025/26, starting 30 games for Chelsea to Savinho’s seven for Man City. He outperformed Savinho for chances created and assists per 90 minutes. The Portuguese winger created 1.8 chances per 90 and provided 0.20 assists, compared to Savinho’s 1.0 chances created and 0.11 assists per 90.
Savinho did carry more direct box threat, with 8.7 touches in the opposition box per 90, compared to Neto’s 3.6. He also completed 1.9 take-ons per 90 to Neto’s 1.5. But that reflects a smaller, more specialist role in Man City’s attack. Neto’s broader sample is the selling point. He gives Man City a left-footed winger who can start regularly, create from either flank and still beat his man.
What would Pedro Neto add to Man City?
