Frosinone 2026/27 Serie A Preview
Frosinone have made the best start of any promoted side in Europe’s major leagues. Massimiliano Alvini’s team sit sixth on 10 points, having beaten Fiorentina 3-0 away, Venezia 3-2 and Como 2-0, with their only defeat a 1-0 at home to Juventus.
Antonio Raimondo has four goals and Giorgi Kvernadze three, and Giacomo Calò has taken 28 corners – more than any player at the club by a distance, and among the highest totals in the division. Lorenzo Palmisani has 21 saves and two clean sheets.
Promotion from Serie B was the aim; a top-six position after five games was not in anyone’s planning. Survival remains the realistic target, but Frosinone have already banked points that most promoted sides take until Christmas to find.
Frosinone’s set-piece specialists
- Penalties: Antonio Raimondo
- Free-Kicks: Giacomo Calò
- Corners: Giacomo Calò, Giorgi Kvernadze
Giacomo Calò has taken 28 of Frosinone’s corners to Giorgi Kvernadze’s 1. Giacomo Calò has had two of the direct free-kicks. Frosinone are yet to be awarded a penalty, so the taker is unproven – Antonio Raimondo, their leading scorer, is the likeliest candidate.
