Group F at World Cup 2026 looks to be one that has the potential for the biggest shock.
The draw placed Netherlands into Group F alongside Japan and Tunisia. Sweden joined the group after their qualifying play-off victory in March.

World Cup 2026 Group F Fixtures
Netherlands and Japan meet on matchday one in Group F in a game that could be a real test for the Dutch side. Sweden and Tunisia meet in the other fixture.
It’s Sweden’s turn to take on the Netherlands on Matchday two, with Tunisia playing Japan in the other Group F game.
The final Group F games take place at the same time on Friday 26th June. Japan and Sweden face off in what could be a qualification decider. Netherlands will hope to have qualification secured when they take on Tunisia in the other fixture.

The odds-on favourites to win Group F are Netherlands with the bookies fancying the European side to excel. Japan and Sweden follow them in the betting market, without much to choose from between them. Tunisia round out the market, with odds as large as 12/1 for the African side to finish top.
Despite Netherlands being favourites we think there could be a big shock in Group F. We like the look of Japan as potential dark horses this year and their price of 11/4 to win the group looks too enticing. They beat England earlier this year, showing that they can beat elite sides, and we’re backing them to do it again in Group F.
