3. Rayan Cherki (Man City)

  • GW36 opponents: Brentford (H), Crystal Palace (H)
  • Predicted points: 10.8

Rayan Cherki sits in the top 10 players for fantasy points over the last four gameweeks, having notched one goal and three assists in this time. He already has 175,000 new owners ahead of Man City’s double against Brentford and Crystal Palace.

He provides a viable attacking alternative to Erling Haaland this week, having matched him on output in the short term. Cherki is joint-top with Haaland for shots over the last four gameweeks, with 17. But only two of those were classified as big chances.

It’s not just goal threat on offer from Cherki though. His assist potential also extremely high right now. He sits second only to Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes for chances created over the last four gameweeks, with 14, including three big chances created.

2. Nico O’Reilly (Man City)

  • GW36 opponents: Brentford (H), Crystal Palace (H)
  • Predicted points: 11.6

Man City have been one of the most consistent defences in the Premier League this season, ranking second for clean sheets, on 14. They have two clean sheets in the last four gameweeks. But conceding three goals against Everton last time out is a concern.

Nico O’Reilly has started all of Man City’s last five Premier League games, with one goal and one assist in this time, having had a leading eight shots among defenders. That takes him to nine goal involvements for the season, the most of any defender in the game.

Man City kept clean sheets in the reverse fixtures against Brentford and Crystal Palace, which bodes well ahead of this pair of games across the double. They have it all to do, after dropping crucial points in their title charge on Arsenal.

1. Erling Haaland (Man City)

  • GW36 opponents: Brentford (H), Crystal Palace (H)
  • Predicted points: 15.3

Erling Haaland will be carrying the hopes of many fantasy managers planning to play the Triple Captain chip in Gameweek 36. The Manchester City striker has scored in three consecutive games, taking him up to a tally of 25, as he looks to secure the Golden Boot.

He is predicted to score 15.3 points across these two fixtures. In the reverse games he managed a combined 21 fantasy points, scoring a goal against Brentford, followed by a brace in the 3-0 win against Crystal Palace in December.

Haaland’s underlying numbers over the last four gameweeks are particularly encouraging, where he ranks top for shots (17), shots in the box (16) and Expected Goals (2.87). Prioritise the triple captain chip for this week if you still have it!
