BTTS & 1+ card each team 9/10 @ Bet365
(52.6%)
⭐⭐⭐ United hype is back, but the defence still leaks. Just three clean sheets all season puts them near the bottom, and Spurs rarely blank — they’ve scored in 20 of 24 league games under Frank. BTTS looks the obvious angle at Old Trafford. The numbers back it up: 18 of United’s 24 league games have landed BTTS, and adding Both Teams 1+ Card boosts it to 1.91. Cards for both sides have shown in 11 of 12 at Old Trafford, nine of Spurs’ 12 away, and 12 of the last 13 H2Hs.

Bruno Fernandes Anytime Assist3/1 @ BOYLESports
(25.0%)
⭐⭐If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. We’ve successfully tipped up Bruno Fernandes to provide an assist in each of the last two weekends and we are doing so again here. Fernandes has the most assists in the league this term and has provided two against Fulham last week. This bet has landed in his last four and in 10 of his last 14 league matches. Odds of 3/1 look generous

How both teams go into Manchester United vs Tottenham

Man United have found form under Carrick, winning all three games since he took over and extending their unbeaten run to seven in the Premier League. They claimed big wins over Arsenal and Manchester City and edged Fulham 3-2 last weekend with a stoppage-time winner from Benjamin Sesko. Interestingly, United thrive when they have less possession, winning seven of nine games this season when under 45 percent.

Carrick’s side sits fourth in the table, just above Chelsea and Liverpool, with a chance to beat last season’s points total with 13 games remaining. A win over Tottenham would give them four league victories in a row for the first time since February 2024. That said, United have struggled against Spurs recently, failing to win any of their last six league meetings.

Tottenham have struggled at home this season, picking up just ten points, and they looked poor in the first half against Man City last weekend. They recovered well after the break, though, with Dominic Solanke scoring twice, including a lucky scorpion kick, to secure a 2-2 draw. Despite this, Spurs are winless in six league games and sit 14th, closer to relegation than the top five.

On the road, Spurs are stronger, with five of their seven league wins coming away from home. They are also unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Man United and even beat them 3-0 at Old Trafford last season. A rare consecutive away win against United would be a boost, something they have managed only once before in January 2014.

Manchester United team news

Matthijs de Ligt, Mason Mount and Patrick Dorgu are out for the hosts.

Tottenham team news

James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies, Richarlison, Lucas Bergvall, Dejan Kulusevski and Kevin Danso are all injured.

Head-to-Head: Last 6 Meetings

Conclusion

Yes, Manchester United have been much improved under Michael Carrick, but against Fulham last week, they showed how they are far from watertight. Spurs shocked Manchester City in the second half last weekend and the best bet here looks to be backing btts and each team to get a card at just under even money.
