2026 World Cup games at BMO Field
BMO Field will host six games at the 2026 World Cup, including Canada’s opening Group B match on 12th June against Bosnia-Herzegovina. Five of the games will be in the group stage, with Group L seeing two matches at BMO Field — though neither involves England. As well as a game in Group E — Germany vs Ivory Coast — BMO Field will also host one of the final matches in Group I.
The stadium will host just one knockout stage match, the round-of-32 tie between the runners-up of Group K and Group L on 3rd July.

BMO Field: History
BMO Field is the smallest stadium at the 2026 World Cup, though it will get an extension in time for the tournament — taking its attendance up to 45,736. The stadium is home to Toronto FC, who play in Major League Soccer, and has hosted a number of football tournaments.
The stadium has hosted games at the Concacaf Gold Cup and U-20 World Cups for both men’s and women’s games. BMO Field is also home to the Canadian Football team the Toronto Argonauts.
BMO Field hasn’t hosted much outside of sport, with just one concert to date — Genesis in 2007 shortly after the stadium opened.
