As mentioned, the Galaxy are the most successful club in MLS Cup history. Their six titles leave them two clear of their nearest rivals, DC United, while they’re one of just seven sides to win it more than once. Inter Miami and Lionel Messi finally tasted MLS glory with a Supporters’ Shield title in 2024, before exiting the Playoffs at the first hurdle. The Galaxy were the last to retain the shield, winning it in 2010 and 2011 during the David Beckham era.
