2026 World Cup games at Gillette Stadium
Gillette Stadium will host seven games during the 2026 World Cup, five of which will take place in the group stage. The first game at the stadium will be from Group C on the opening week of the tournament, with debutants Haiti taking on Scotland. Additionally, the stadium will host another match in Group C between Scotland and Morocco, two games from Group I — including Norway vs France, that will see Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe lock horns — and one match from Group L, which is England’s big clash with Ghana.
Gillette Stadium will also feature one game in the round of 32, with its final match occurring in the quarter-finals on 9th July 2026.

Gillette Stadium: History
Gillette Stadium, which opened in 2002, is the home of the New England Patriots, who have won the Super Bowl six times, a record in the NFL.
In addition to hosting NFL games, the stadium has welcomed various matches for the United States Men’s National Team and has served as a venue for several Concacaf Gold Cups. It also hosted the Copa América in 2016 and four matches during the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Beyond football, Gillette Stadium has been the site of college football games, ice hockey matches, and lacrosse events. The stadium is also a popular concert venue, featuring performances from major artists such as The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé over the years.
