Brentford are still chasing a top half finish in their 2024/25 Premier League campaign after a disappointing 2023/24 season.

The Bees have adjusted brilliantly to life in the top flight, with 13th and ninth-placed finishes in their first two campaigns. However, last season was something of a regression as Thomas Frank’s men slipped to 16th. They started brightly and were ninth by the start of November following a three-game winning streak against Burnley, Chelsea and West Ham. However, Brentford lost 14 of their next 18 Premier League matches, picking up just 10 points and crashing into the relegation battle.

Thankfully for the Gtech Community Stadium faithful, Brentford stabilised and finished with something of a flourish, losing just two of their last nine games, picking up 13 points and three wins to move 13 points clear of the relegation zone. That was a big relief to supporters, who will expect much better this time around.
