Even with the odds stacked against them Eagles head coach Roy Hodgson must have slightly fancied their chances. With success, he becomes the first manager in Premier League history to go five consecutive away league games against Manchester United unbeaten (two draws and three wins).
In fact, all three of Palace’s Premier League wins at Old Trafford have come under him (1-2 in 2019, 1-3 in 2020 and 0-1 in 2023).
