Fiorentina director Daniele Pradé has claimed that although Sofyan Amrabat wants to leave for a “big club” there have been no official bids for his services.
The 26-year-old midfielder made a name for himself at last winter’s World Cup finals in Qatar and was subsequently linked to many clubs.

Amrabat was the heartbeat of Morooco’s incredible semi-final run; the Atlas Lions became the first African nation to come one game away from reaching the final.
Numerous suitors, notably from Spain and England, emerged and it seemed either Atletico Madrid or Manchester United were Amrabat’s likely destination.

A report from Rotterdam-based newspaper Algemeen Dagblad earlier in the week also claimed Liverpool are on the cusp of concluding a deal.
However La Viola chief Pradé has denied a transfer is imminent, despite the player’s desire to join a “big club”.

“The situation is clear,” he said on the club’s official YouTube channel. “[Amrabat] wants to join a top club and we want to satisfy him, but if we receive no offers, he will stay with us.
“We don’t have a player like him in the team.”

Liverpool, meanwhile, confirmed the signing of Japan international Endo Wataru from Stuttgart for a fee of around £16 million.
