Everton Squawka Score ratings 2025-26
The 2025-26 Premier League season is over, so we’ve taken a look at Everton’s most-used XI from the campaign below and how the players have performed according to the Squawka Score rating system.
The Squawka Score is a metric developed to assess a player’s performance related to other players in the same position. It’s a percentage rating from 0 to 100, calculated based on various per-90-minute statistics, including the obvious stats such as goals and assists, but also some more obscure ones that are more position-specific.

GK: Jordan Pickford – 59% – Pickford slid down the rankings a little during the second half of the season. However, he still ended the campaign with some elite passing numbers, sitting in the 80-95th percentile for final third passes completed and final third pass success.
RB: Jake O’Brien – 49% – O’Brien doesn’t rank too well among Premier League full-backs. His ground duels success rate left a lot to be desired and his attacking numbers were almost non-existent. However, he is a centre-back by trade, and ranked in the 95th percentile for clearances and challenges lost.
RCB: James Tarkowski – 57% – Tarkowski ranks fairly well for his aerial duel success rates, and his aerial duels won in general. The Englishman also ranks very well for clearances and blocked shots. His passing lets him down, though.
LCB: Michael Keane – 64% – Keane sits just outside the top 10 for centre-backs in the Premier League this season. He ranks well for aerial duels won per 90 and clearances, sitting in the 95th percentile and above in both metrics. Keane also has decent success rates in both aerial and ground duels.
LB: Vitalii Mykolenko – 56% – Mykolenko has been a polarising figure for Everton this season. He ranks poorly for his ground duel success rate, as well as other key defensive metrics. But he does sit in the 95th percentile and above among full-backs for clearances per 90 — like his full-back partner.
CM: Tim Iroegbunam – 45% – Iroegbunam sits in the 95th percentile and above for tackles won per 90, and also ranks well for interceptions retaining possession. But he has proven unreliable on the ball, ranking poorly for metrics including retention rate and open-play passing accuracy.
CM: James Garner – 72% – Garner ranked fourth among central midfielders this season, and it’s easy to see why. The former Manchester United man was in the 80-95th percentile in a host of key stats, including assists, interceptions, tackles won and penalty area entries. He can count himself unfortunate not to have made Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
No.10: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 57% – While he has impressed at times, Dewsbury-Hall ranks poorly for a lot of attacking metrics. Solid but unspectacular across the board.
RW: Iliman Ndiaye – 47% – Ndiaye sits in the 80-95th percentile among wingers for take-ons completed per 90 as well as tackles won. But he is underwhelming in other metrics.
LW: Jack Grealish – 60% – Grealish had an excellent start to life as an Everton player, but he did tail off slightly. He does still sit in the 80-95th percentile among wingers for Expected Assists, while ranking well enough in other key metrics. His injury was a big blow for Everton.
ST: Thierno Barry – 55% – Everton spent a lot of money on Thierno Barry, and a purple patch either side of New Year aside, he’s yet to even come close to repaying it. The Frenchman ranks in the 80-95th percentile for lay off passes completed, but has been utterly underwhelming elsewhere.
Everton set-piece specialists:
