Mikel Arteta will continue to lead his side towards the Premier League title without some key defensive personnel when they take on Southampton on Friday night.

Arsenal will be without William Saliba once again this weekend, with Rob Holding continuing to deputise in his absence. Arteta confirmed that the centre back won’t feature this weekend in a press conference on Friday.
“[He is]is not progressing as quick as we hoped and we are still to wait a little bit more”, the Spaniard told the press.
It also seems certain that Oleksandr Zinchenko will also miss out with Arteta “not certain” when he will return, adding “It’s a muscular injury that needs some time to heal and we’re not there yet”.
Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu will still be sidelined with neither expected to feature again this season.
