Sporting come into this final game before getting their 2022/23 league season underway having played five matches winning just the one encounter against Roma while suffering one loss to Primeira Liga rivals Portimonense.

In their first season without Nuno Espírito Santo at the helm Wolves completed a top half Premier League finish. With the new season looming it’s been quiet on the summer transfer front with Nathan Collins being the club’s only new addition. Hee-chan Hwang, who spent last season on loan from RB Leipzig, has completed a permanent move.
Regarding their preparations, Bruno Lage’s men started with three wins in a row before a 2-1 loss at Levante but they would return to successful ways through a 3-0 success over Besiktas. However, last time out Wolves fell to a 2-1 defeat against Villarreal’s reserve team.
