Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has enquired about life at Real Madrid, according to Norway teammate Martin Odegaard.
The 21-year-old marksman is among Europe’s most wanted footballers and many observers believe he’ll be leaving the Bundesliga giants this summer with a host of ‘super clubs’ vying for his signature.
Among those reportedly interested are 13-time European champions Real where Arsenal star Odegaard briefly played. The midfielder, who’s no stranger to courting mass attention, famously joined Los Blancos as a teenager but struggled for playing time having left the Spanish capital with 11 appearances.

Haaland could potentially follow in his compatriots footsteps and Real’s pursuit is logical given his form since joining BVB in January 2020; to date he’s featured 82 times across every major competition subsequently registering 80 goals.
Given Odegaard’s previous history with Spain’s most decorated club it was inevitable that he would be questioned about this growing speculation.

Norway head coach, Stale Solbakken, added: “Every word and every sentence he [Haaland] says would be twisted, and the translation would certainly be a bit speculative.”
“I don’t want to pretend that it’s not a problem – because it is.”
Norway failed to reach Qatar 2022 after finishing third in their World Cup qualification. Haaland would end the campaign having netted five goals.
Despite missing out his international career has got off to an impressive start. The Leeds-born goalscorer will be looking to build on the 12 goals he’s netted across his first 15 matches.
