Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills quarterback, NFL player profile and stats

Josh Allen is the Buffalo Bills quarterback, and for a Canadian audience he is the most relevant player in the league. Buffalo holds the NFL’s exclusive Canadian marketing rights and Highmark Stadium is about a two hour drive from Toronto, so the Bills are the closest thing this country has to a home team. The Josh Allen stats on this page run to the 2025 season, taken from our data provider on 30 August 2026.

Passing and rushing only. A handful of stray receiving and defensive lines appear in the raw data from trick plays and loose-ball recoveries, and they are left out here because they say nothing useful about a quarterback.

What the numbers show

The clearest trend across these five seasons is volume coming down while efficiency goes up. Allen threw 646 passes in 2021. By 2025 that was 460, a drop of 186 attempts, and yet his passer rating over the same span went from 92.2 to 102.2, the best of the five years listed.

His legs account for a good deal of the difference. Rushing touchdowns went 6, 7, 15, 12, 14 across 2021 to 2025, so the goal-line carries that used to be throws are now runs. The interception column tells its own story too: 18 in 2023 was the high, and he has been at 10 or fewer in each of the two seasons since.

He has also been durable, missing one game in five years. For where that leaves Buffalo as a betting proposition, our Super Bowl odds board carries the season-long market and the model methodology sets out how we price it.

Why Josh Allen matters in Canada

The NFL granted Buffalo exclusive Canadian marketing rights under its Global Markets Program in May 2025, which formalised something that was already true. Bills games draw a Southern Ontario crowd, the drive from Toronto is manageable for a Sunday, and Allen is the player that support is built around. If you are betting an NFL quarterback market from Canada, this is the one you will see priced most often. The full squad sits on our Buffalo Bills roster page.
