League rank out of 30 on this season’s box scores (7 and 8 games). Ratings are points per 100 possessions, estimated from the box score.

The Warriors lead the league on the offensive glass and make 38.9 per cent of their threes, second. Orlando’s offence is 25th, and only two teams turn it over more.

Curry against an Orlando backcourt without Suggs is the obvious mismatch. Desmond Bane will spend time on him, and Curry has scored 31 or more in three of his last five.

Score prediction

Warriors 117-106 Magic. Orlando’s net rating is 24th, and the Warriors are 4-1 at home. We expect Golden State by about 11.

Magic vs Warriors prediction

Golden State’s six-game winning run has come by an average of 12.8 points, and Curry had 29 in 28 minutes against Miami.

Orlando’s best chance is the turnover battle, because the Warriors give the ball away on 14.3 per cent of possessions, 22nd in the league, and a Magic side short of shooters will need every extra possession it can get against an offence this good.

Our pick: the Warriors to win.

What would change it: if Curry were ruled out, we would expect a close game and drop the pick.
