Toronto Raptors odds
We don’t print a price for the Raptors here yet. No Canadian sportsbook feed covers the NBA for us, and an American number isn’t a fair guide to what you’ll see in your province.
Where you can bet depends on where you live. Ontario and Alberta have licensed private sportsbooks, and the rest of Canada bets through its provincial lottery platform. Our NBA betting hub explains each province, and the list below is matched to where you are.
Toronto Raptors history
The Raptors joined the NBA in 1995-96 with the Vancouver Grizzlies, the league’s first expansion into Canada. They played their first seasons at SkyDome before moving into what is now Scotiabank Arena in February 1999. The Grizzlies left for Memphis in 2001, so Toronto has been the NBA’s only Canadian club ever since.
Vince Carter turned them into a draw. Chris Bosh followed, and then came the era of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, the two names that sit at the top of almost every franchise list.
The peak came in 2019. Kawhi Leonard, acquired the previous summer, led Toronto past Golden State in six games for the only championship in club history, and he was named Finals MVP. He left for the Clippers that July.
Most famous player: Vince Carter
No Raptor changed the club’s standing like Vince Carter. He arrived in 1998 and turned a young expansion team into a nightly highlight, and he was the first player whose number Toronto retired, with No. 15 raised to the rafters on 2 November 2024.
Kyle Lowry’s No. 7 is next, after the home game against Philadelphia on 10 January 2027. Lowry holds the franchise records for assists, steals and three-pointers.
