Indiana Pacers 2026-27 season outlook
Through 4 games, Indiana is 2-2, scoring 116.5 points a game and allowing 115.0. That’s 8th in the East, 0-1 at home and 2-1 on the road. Last season ended at 19-63.
Without Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers went 19-63 in 2025-26, the second-worst record in the league. Their 2026 first-round pick had gone to the Clippers in the February trade for Ivica Zubac, protected only in the top four. It landed fifth in the May lottery, so Indiana had no pick in the 2026 draft, and Zubac played only five games for them before the season ended. The summer brought Kelly Oubre Jr., Larry Nance Jr. and Braden Smith.
Watch Haliburton’s health. He is listed day to day with a hamstring problem, and his tracker below follows it game by game.

Indiana Pacers odds
We don’t print a price for the Pacers here yet. No Canadian sportsbook feed covers the NBA for us, and an American number isn’t a fair guide to what you’ll see in your province.
Where you can bet depends on where you live. Ontario and Alberta have licensed private sportsbooks, and the rest of Canada bets through its provincial lottery platform. Our NBA betting hub explains each province, and the list below is matched to where you are.
Indiana Pacers history
The Pacers were founded in 1967 as an original member of the American Basketball Association. They won ABA titles in 1970, 1972 and 1973. In 1976-77 they joined the NBA as one of four ABA clubs taken in by the merger.
Reggie Miller arrived as the 11th pick in 1987 and spent all 18 of his seasons in Indiana. The Pacers reached their first NBA Finals in 2000. The Lakers beat them in six games.
The next run came with Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam. Indiana reached the conference finals in 2024 and the Finals in 2025, where Oklahoma City won in seven. Haliburton tore his right Achilles in Game 7. Without him, the Pacers went 19-63 the next season.
Most famous player: Reggie Miller
Reggie Miller holds the Pacers records for points, with 25,279, and for games, assists, steals and three-pointers. Indiana drafted him 11th overall in 1987, he played all 18 of his seasons there, and his No. 31 was retired on 30 March 2006.
Pascal Siakam is the current link to Toronto. He won the 2019 title with the Raptors, joined Indiana in a three-team trade in January 2024 and was named MVP of the 2025 Eastern Conference finals.
