Prediction markets are still available to Missouri residents, but the state says their sports contracts are illegal. On September 18, 2026, Attorney General Catherine Hanaway announced cease-and-desist letters telling Polymarket, Kalshi, Crypto.com, Novig, Underdog and Robinhood to stop offering sports event contracts to Missourians unless they are licensed by the Missouri Gaming Commission. Novig and Crypto.com sued her on October 16, 2026, and Kalshi on October 27, and we found no ruling as of November 2.

It is general information, not legal advice, and the picture is evolving. For the platform detail, see our full Kalshi review.
