Every NFL award market on one page, priced and explained. The NFL awards odds below cover Coach of the Year, both Rookie of the Year races and Defensive Player of the Year, the markets where the voting patterns are strong enough to bet against, and MVP gets its own page because its rules deserve the room. Each award has a type; the boards make a lot more sense once you know it. 19+ (18+ in AB, MB and QC).
NFL Coach of the Year odds
Odds from DraftKings, an Ontario-licensed book, checked 3 August 2026. Prices vary by book and move weekly through camp.
| Coach | Team | Odds | Implied chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| John Harbaugh | New York Giants | +600 | 14.3% |
| Jesse Minter | Baltimore Ravens | +1000 | 9.1% |
| Robert Saleh | Tennessee Titans | +1000 | 9.1% |
| Kellen Moore | New Orleans Saints | +1200 | 7.7% |
| Joe Brady | Buffalo Bills | +1500 | 6.3% |
The pattern is not subtle: Harbaugh, Minter and Saleh are all first-year hires, and five of the last ten winners took the award in their first season with a new team. The other five were still running turnaround seasons nobody priced. Voters reward the coach whose team beat expectations by the widest visible margin, not the best coach in football; the best coach in football wins 12 games every year and bores the electorate.
NFL Rookie of the Year odds
Two separate markets: the Associated Press splits the rookie honour into offensive and defensive awards, and books price them independently. Nobody betting these has seen the players take a professional snap, which makes them the most opinion-friendly boards of the summer.
Offensive Rookie of the Year odds
| Player | Odds | Implied chance |
|---|---|---|
| Jeremiyah Love | +425 | 19.0% |
| Fernando Mendoza | +550 | 15.4% |
| Carnell Tate | +550 | 15.4% |
| Jordyn Tyson | +600 | 14.3% |
Defensive Rookie of the Year odds
| Player | Odds | Implied chance |
|---|---|---|
| David Bailey | +500 | 16.7% |
| Rueben Bain Jr. | +500 | 16.7% |
| Sonny Styles | +750 | 11.8% |
| Caleb Downs | +750 | 11.8% |
Playing time decides both markets. Rookies who start Week 1 win these awards; talented rookies buried on a depth chart do not, which is why the sharpest question about any name above is not how good he is but whether the job is his. On offence, volume wins: quarterbacks and high-touch skill players own the history. On defence it skews to pass rushers and downhill linebackers, because sacks are the rookie stat voters can see from the couch.
NFL Defensive Player of the Year odds
Consensus prices tracked by SportsBettingDime, checked 24 July 2026.
| Player | Odds | Implied chance |
|---|---|---|
| Myles Garrett | +425 | 19.0% |
| Will Anderson Jr. | +725 | 12.1% |
| Aidan Hutchinson | +900 | 10.0% |
| Maxx Crosby | +1525 | 6.2% |
One rule decides this award: rush the passer or bring a case nobody can argue with. Edge rushers have taken five of the last six editions, and reigning winner Myles Garrett, favourite again after a record-breaking sack season and the summer’s biggest trade, is the profile in its purest form. A +425 on a two-time winner is really a bet on health plus scheme fit; the production case is already proven.
Recent winners, all four awards
| Season | Coach of the Year | Offensive Rookie | Defensive Rookie | Defensive Player |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | Mike Vrabel | Tetairoa McMillan | Carson Schwesinger | Myles Garrett |
| 2024 | Kevin O’Connell | Jayden Daniels | Jared Verse | Pat Surtain II |
| 2023 | Kevin Stefanski | C.J. Stroud | Will Anderson Jr. | Myles Garrett |
| 2022 | Brian Daboll | Garrett Wilson | Sauce Gardner | Nick Bosa |
| 2021 | Mike Vrabel | Ja’Marr Chase | Micah Parsons | T.J. Watt |
| 2020 | Kevin Stefanski | Justin Herbert | Chase Young | Aaron Donald |
Read the columns together and the shared grammar of these awards appears: surprise, measured in something voters can count. Turnaround wins for coaches, immediate volume for rookies, sack totals for defenders. When a candidate does not fit the column’s pattern, you are not betting the award; you are betting that the voters change, and they rarely do.
How to bet the award markets
Small stakes, shopped prices, early or not at all. Award markets are the thinnest boards in the NFL futures menu, which makes book-to-book gaps wide in the provinces where shopping is possible, and it makes the closing price a poor guide to value all season. The MVP race, the biggest and most rule-bound award of all, has its own board and full breakdown on our NFL MVP odds page. And every award here is voted on the regular season only, announced at NFL Honors in February, so December form decides everything and January means nothing.
NFL awards odds FAQ
The full menu at the Ontario and Alberta books: MVP, Coach of the Year, Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive and Offensive Player of the Year, and Comeback Player. The lottery platforms elsewhere carry a thinner futures menu, and the niche award markets are often absent, so check yours first.
John Harbaugh, in his first season with the Giants, at +600 with DraftKings at the time of writing. The top of the board is all first-year hires, which is what the award’s history says it should be.
Jeremiyah Love leads the offensive board at +425, with David Bailey and Rueben Bain Jr. sharing the defensive favouritism at +500. Rookie boards move on every camp report, so treat pre-season prices as a snapshot.
Sacks, mostly. Edge rushers have won five of the last six, with cornerback Pat Surtain II’s 2024 award the exception, and reigning winner Myles Garrett is favourite again after a record-breaking sack season. If your candidate does not rush the passer, history wants a very good reason.
All of them at NFL Honors, the league’s awards show during Super Bowl week in February. Voting covers the regular season only, so playoff runs change nothing.
They are low-liquidity markets with wide margins and wide book-to-book gaps, which cuts both ways: worse average prices, better chances of finding a genuinely wrong one. Bet them small, shop them hard where your province allows, and remember most award winners were not the pre-season favourite.
