From Cruz Azul to the San Siro
Giménez came through at Cruz Azul, winning the Liga MX title in 2021, before a 2022 move to Feyenoord transformed his career. He was prolific in the Netherlands — one of the Eredivisie’s most feared strikers and Feyenoord’s top scorer — winning the 2022-23 Eredivisie title and the KNVB Cup. That form earned a deadline-day move to AC Milan in early 2025 for around €32m. In all he has scored more than 90 club goals.

Santiago Giménez is a Mexican striker who plays for AC Milan. He is the son of former Cruz Azul forward Christian “Chaco” Giménez.
Giménez came through at Cruz Azul before joining Feyenoord in 2022 and AC Milan in 2025.
