Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood became the first 18-year-old to score in the Premier League this season on Sunday.
The talented teenager came off the bench to score the second goal in Man Utd’s epic comeback against Sheffield United, with the result at Bramall Lane finishing 3-3.
His finish was that of a typical No. 9, getting in between the Sheffield Utd central defenders before profiting from a timely Marcus Rashford delivery.
Greenwood has now officially announced himself to the Premier League by netting his first goal in the competition, coming just a month after his 18th birthday.
By doing so the Bradford-born striker has become the third youngster scorer in the Premier League for Man Utd, sitting just behind Danny Welbeck and Federico Macheda.
The forward has benefitted immensely from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s willingness to provide opportunities to some of the club’s younger players, but he is not the only manager looking to blood raw, untested talent.
Some other Premier League tacticians have also looked to hand chances to the young bucks, and the results have been positive up and down the country.
With that considered, can you name the 10 youngest players to score in the Premier League this season?
