They are one of only six nations to reach the finals in every edition since 1994.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s their performances once there that have left something to be desired. El Tri are often the second-strongest team in the group, leading to a tough first opponent in the knock-out stages. Brazil beat them in the round of 16 in 2018, the Netherlands in 2014 and Argentina in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the expanded version of the tournament and a group they&#8217;ll feel they have a chance of winning, the CONCACAF nation could go further this time.
