In Burnley’s four Premier League relegations, they have never finished bottom of the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That doesn’t look likely to happen now, given how poor Wolves have been this season. However, there is still a 14.3% probability of Burnley sinking one place lower before the end of the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Clarets have never had a Premier League Player of the Year winner, with their top performers this season having to battle it out internally for the club\u2019s own Player of the Year honours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, it’s Arsenal’s Declan Rice who leads the way, followed by top scorer and title rival at Man City, Erling Haaland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burnley ins and outs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Burnley had an active summer transfer window, bringing in a number of new players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle Walker was the high-profile signature after the multiple Premier League winner joined from Manchester City for \u00a35m. Burnley spent a combined \u00a343m to bring in midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu and striker Armando Broja from Chelsea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcus Edwards signed permanently after a successful loan spell, while Loum Tchaouna arrived from Lazio in a \u00a312.9m deal to bolster the attack. Other notable additions included Dutch left-back Quilindschy Hartman, Bashir Humphreys from Chelsea, Axel Tuanzebe from Ipswich, and winger Jaidon Anthony from Bournemouth, Jacob Bruun Larsen (Stuttgart), Zian Flemming (Millwall), and promising young goalkeeper Max Weiss (Karlsruher SC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the way out, we saw keeper James Trafford depart for Man City for \u00a327m, Han-Noah Massengo departed for Augsburg, while the likes of Josh Brownhill, Nathan Redmond, and Jonjo Shelvey were released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite their struggles, Burnley’s only winter signing was the loan capture of James Ward-Prowse from West Ham. The Clarets also let Hannes Delcroix join FC Lugano for free, while the likes of Benson, Koleosho and Obafemi secured new loan moves.<\/p>\n\n\n
