West Ham are priced at 4\/5 to be relegated from the Premier League this season. The last time the Hammers went down was in the 2011\/12 season when they finished bottom, but managed to come back up the season after — remaining in the top flight ever since. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The odd scare aside, West Ham have generally managed to stay clear of relegation trouble since, even enjoying some European campaigns and winning the 2022\/23 Uefa Conference League under David Moyes. However, at the time of writing, they’re 18th in the table, three points adrift of safety with 12 games to go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wolves are all but relegated, while Burnley have an implied probability of 99% to go down. West Ham are next at a worrying 55.6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given the trouble they find themselves in, it’d take a miracle for West Ham to gatecrash the top 10 now. The Hammers are on a good run of just one defeat and three wins from their last five Premier League matches, but that still leaves them in the bottom three and 12 points off 10th at the time of writing. 50\/1 odds represent a 2% likelihood of finishing 10th or above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite their predicament, West Ham still have one player relatively high up the goalscoring charts in the form of Jarrod Bowen. The England international has scored eight goals so far this season, with only eight players throughout the division managing more.     West Ham made some big signings during the summer, spending big on the likes of Mateus Fernandes, El Hadji Malick Diouf, Mads Hermansen and Soungoutou Magassa. Jean-Clair Todibo’s loan was made permanent, while the likes of Callum Wilson and Kyle Walker-Peters arrived for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the same window, the Hammers sold Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham, also parting ways with Nayef Aguerd, Emerson, Kurt Zouma, Danny Ings, Michail Antonio, Vladimir Coufal and others. Edson Alvarez joined Fenerbahce on loan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Winter was busy as well, with Nuno Espirito Santo bolstering his attack with the signings of Taty Castellanos, Pablo and Adama Traore, while defender Axel Disasi joined from Chelsea on loan, and Venezuelan youngster Keiber Lamadrid also arrived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
