The 2024-25 La Liga<\/a> season is over and Kylian Mbappe has claimed the Pichichi trophy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    No player has retained the Pichichi Trophy since Lionel Messi won the award five seasons in a row between 2016-17 and 2020-21. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But perhaps that could change, with Mbappe storming to the award this campaign, netting 31 La Liga goals in his maiden Real Madrid campaign. That wasn’t enough to help Los Blancos to the title, with runner-up Robert Lewandowski pairing his 27 goals with a league medal.
