Spain haven&#8217;t had someone stellar to lead the line for a while, but Alvaro Morata has been doing a pretty good job in Qatar, with the Atletico Madrid man currently on three goals, second only to Kylian Mbappe (five).<\/p>\n<p>You can see why Luis Enrique trusts him. In the recent Nations League, Morata scored twice to help Spain reach the finals, including a very late goal in a 1-0 win over Portugal that sealed top spot. Morata also scored three goals at Euro 2020, though it was his penalty miss that saw Spain beaten by Italy in the semi-final shootout. Nevertheless, Morata knows how to score at major tournaments, and he&#8217;s backing that notion up in Qatar.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Spain player to watch &#8211; Pedri<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s tough to settle on just one name here. Heck, with the likes of Gavi and Ansu Fati around, it&#8217;s tough to pick a favourite Barcelona boy wonder. But, if it&#8217;s got to be just one name here, it has to be Pedri. The 2021 Golden Boy winner is as effortless a midfield superstar as there is in the game today. In terms of innate feel for the game, efficiency of movement, touch on the ball, passing ability and eye for goal, he has no weaknesses in his game.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Spain emerging player to look out for &#8211; Yeremy Pino<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The extent to which Yeremy Pino has actually featured at the World Cup has been nonexistent so far &#8212; but he remains a stellar insurance policy if Enrique needs a different perspective to his attacking line in the knockouts.<\/p>\n<p>Pino <em>is<\/em> a genuine rising star in Spanish football.
