Andoni Iraola will leave his post at Bournemouth when his contract expires at the end of the 2025-26 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Spaniard has done a superb job in charge of the Cherries since he took over in the summer of 2023, and is currently enjoying a club record 12 game unbeaten run in the Premier League following last weekend\u2019s stunning win away to leaders Arsenal.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement, on the club\u2019s website, Iraola said:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It has been an honour to manage AFC Bournemouth and I am proud of what we have achieved together. I\u2019m thankful to the players and staff that I\u2019ve worked with, as well as Bill, who have all made my time here so special.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As for the fans, you have continued to show your fantastic support to myself and the team, and for that I will always be grateful. I feel this is the right moment for me to step away, but I will always carry fantastic memories of this club.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marco Rose has been a regular name in Premier League next manager markets this season, with the German installed as the early 10\/3 favourite to take over at Bournemouth this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose has been waiting for the right opportunity since leaving RB Leipzig in March 2025, which followed spells at Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach, Red Bull Salzburg, and Lokomotive Leipzig.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Bournemouth keen to build on the progressive style established under Andoni Iraola, Rose\u2019s style of play, track record of developing young talent, and record of winning silverware (Austrian league and cup double, and domestic cups in Germany) could make him a strong fit.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eddie Howe (Newcastle)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Well, well, well – could Bournemouth legend Eddie Howe swap dugouts and return to the club where he made his name? It feels unlikely, even if Sky Bet have priced the Englishman as the 5\/1 second favourite in the betting.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, questions are growing around Howe\u2019s future at Newcastle. Despite delivering their first domestic trophy for a whopping 70 years last season, the Magpies have struggled this term, sitting 14th in the Premier League and dropping a league-high 25 points from winning positions. Pressure is building and while a summer sacking would be a surprise, it\u2019s not completely out of the question.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kieran McKenna (Ipswich Town)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Kieran McKenna is an interesting name to keep an eye on at 11\/2, especially after the Athletic\u2019s David Ornstein revealed that he is an early contender, although the 39-year-old will currently be fully focused on leading Ipswich back up to the Premier League at the first time of asking.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Manchester United coach famously took the Tractor Boys from League One to the top-flight, only to suffer an immediate relegation down to the Championship last season. However, with just six games to go his side sit in the second automatic promotion spot with odds as short as 1\/25 to go up.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who else is in the mix?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ange Postecoglou<\/b> is priced at 7\/1 to add a third Premier League club to his CV. The Aussie led Tottenham to Europa League glory last season, only to then be rewarded with the sack in the summer. He made a swift return with Nottingham Forest, a dire spell which lasted all of 39 days after he went eight games without a win.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Frank<\/b>, 7\/1, is also looking for a return for the dugout after his spell at Spurs didn\u2019t go to plan. Former England manager<\/span> Gareth Southgate<\/b> is available at 17\/2, alongside ex-Borussia Dortmund boss<\/span> Edin Terzic<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Southampton\u2019s rising star <\/span>Tonda Eckert<\/b> is 11\/1, alongside Crystal Palace\u2019s soon-to-be-departed boss <\/span>Oliver Glasner<\/b>, and <\/span>Cesc Fabregas<\/b> who has Como 5th in Serie A.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Moreirense manager Vasco Botelho<\/strong> is another name being touted. He will be on the radar of Black Knight Football Club who own the Cherries and have a majority ownership interest in the Portuguese club.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
